Mackenzie Rio Davis, born April 1, 1987 in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a Canadian actress and director. She studied at McGill University and later at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. She made her feature debut in Smashed (2012) and gained further acclaim in The F Word (2013). She starred as Cameron Howe in Halt and Catch Fire (2014-2017), and in films like The Martian, Blade Runner 2049, Terminator: Dark Fate and Tully. In addition to screen work, she’s appeared in theatre and made her directorial debut with the short film WOACA.
